Laura Marling

Describing a Marling concert in London on 29 April 2015, Kate Goodacre writing for Digital Spy, said: "...the (brief) story behind a new track called 'Daisy' - once a contender for the latest record, about a good friend ("I can't remember if she's here tonight or tomorrow night"). Marling further reveals that she tried it as an encore earlier in the tour - and came to the conclusion that she still doesn't really feel comfortable giving encores. Poppier than recent fare, 'Daisy' has the beautifully blunt line 'a woman alone is not a woman undone', an immediate and decisive statement if ever there was one."
